The Miami Valley Football Coaches Association honors football coaches that have not only accomplished many milestones throughout their coaching careers but have served as mentors and leaders in the Miami Valley Area with our Head Coaches Hall of Fame and Assistant Coaches Hall of Fame.
MVFCA HEAD COACHES HALL OF FAME
In 2012, the Miami Valley Football Coaches Association welcomed its first class to the MVFCA Head Coaches Hall of Fame. The MVFCA Head Coaches Hall of Fame was created to honor head football coaches in the Miami Valley who have had a sustained record of excellence on the field, a significant lasting impact on high school football in the greater Dayton area, and who have been contributing members to the Miami Valley Football Coaches Association. In 2014, the selection committee voted to add a “Legends” Inductee each year, to honor former outstanding coaches from the Miami Valley whose success occurred before the inception of the MVFCA in 1973.
Names with (*) are also in the Ohio HS FB Coaches HOF
Nomination Forms can be downloaded under the "Forms" tab and emailed to Coach Eric Gillespie

MVFCA ASSISTANT COACHES HALL OF FAME
In June of 2009 the MVFCA welcomed its inaugural class to the Assistant Coaches Hall of Fame. The driving force behind the establishment of this honor was Coach Jim Place. He explains the philosophy this way, "Head coaches get an opportunity to go into the big hall of fame in Columbus, and they get to be inducted into their own school's hall of fame. But assistant coaches are the forgotten heroes." The MVFCA is proud to honor these coaches and their years of service.
To be considered for induction, a coach must have been an assistant coach for a minimum of 20 years (may be at different schools) and be a member of the MVFCA.
The deadline for applications each year will be March 1. Nomination Forms for the Assistant Coach Hall of Fame can be found under the "FORMS" tab. Email those forms to Coach Jim Place
