In June of 2009 the MVFCA welcomed its inaugural class to the Assistant Coaches Hall of Fame. The driving force behind the establishment of this honor was Coach Jim Place. He explains the philosophy this way, "Head coaches get an opportunity to go into the big hall of fame in Columbus, and they get to be inducted into their own school's hall of fame. But assistant coaches are the forgotten heroes."
The MVFCA is proud to honor these coaches and their years of service.
